A growing international business is seeking an experienced Interim General Ledger Accountant for a 6-month remote contract. The role involves managing core finance operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in GL accounting, proficiency with ERP systems like NetSuite, and the ability to work collaboratively across different time zones.

Hiring : Interim General Ledger Accountant (6 Month Contract)

We’re currently partnering with a growing international business seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to support their finance team on an 6-month contract . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is confident managing core finance operations independently.

You’ll work as part of a high-performing, international team and be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting the month- and year-end close, and managing data flows between financial systems.

Prepare and post monthly general ledger entries, including accruals and amortisations

Reconcile key accounts such as banks, intercompany, and payables

Assist with VAT and tax booking accuracy and reporting

Coordinate system data imports and ensure seamless integration into NetSuite

Contribute to internal controls and support audit readiness

Provide support across finance operations, including HR-related reconciliations

Strong background in GL accounting and financial reconciliation

Proficiency with ERP systems – NetSuite experience is a strong advantage

Comfortable working remotely and engaging with teams across different time zones
