A leading multinational company in the Industrial Machinery sector is looking for an ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER.
As an ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER (INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY), you will:
Ensure the correct development of the project, especially regarding meeting deadlines.
Coordinate the different people, departments, and resources necessary to develop the projects.
Convene the initial project meeting and coordinate the different follow-up meetings with the Technical Office, Purchasing, Production, After-Sales, etc.
Inform the Technical Office, Production, and Management about compliance with deadlines, costs, technical specifications, production planning, billing conditions, and other relevant aspects of each project, as well as anomalies or incidents, whether of internal or external origin.
Propose changes and modifications in the execution of the project, either based on client requirements (detected directly or through Sales) or from company needs (communicated from Purchasing and Production, Technical Office, and other departments).
Know and interpret all project-related documentation, from the contract signed with the client to the plans and instruction manuals.
Monitor the project, especially regarding technical aspects, from the signing of the contract until one year after assembly and commissioning, or until the end of the warranty period.
Visit the client, in agreement with Sales and accompanied when convenient, at 3 or 4 key milestones in the development of large projects: upon delivery of plans, during the assembly and commissioning phase, or during the period after it (optionally, also at the signing of the contract, when problems arise, or when necessary).
Stay informed of changes, modifications, delays, or situations that alter the planned project execution schedule, adequately informing the interested parties.
Propose or suggest ideas regarding design, engineering, equipment purchases, and others.
Conduct a periodic evaluation of the project's progress.
What you'll need to fit the position
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum experience as a Project Manager in an Industrial Installations company (preferably Food Industry or Biogas) of 3-4 years
Training as a PM (desirable but not essential)
High proficiency in English, French, and Spanish is essential
Willing to travel 25% of the time
