Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Content Strategist & Copywriter to join our Marketing Team in Barcelona, starting in April/May. This role involves developing content strategies across multiple points of sale, including websites, social media, newsletters, and blogs.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies for all platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
2. Maintain high-quality, error-free, and visually appealing written materials aligned with brand guidelines.
3. Manage website content, including hotel descriptions and images, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
4. Review and ensure the quality of landing pages and category content.
5. Oversee translation and localization processes for content adaptation across regions.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with business goals and campaigns.
7. Optimize content for specific points of sale to meet audience needs.
8. Create and edit SEO-optimized content that reflects Weekendesk’s voice.
9. Ensure content quality and relevance through regular updates and audits.
10. Utilize data-driven insights to improve content performance and engagement.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French; Spanish is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in content creation, management, or editorial roles.
• Strong knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices.
• Experience with CMS and analytics tools.
• Excellent organizational, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Passion for storytelling and audience engagement.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the travel or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency with translation tools and localization processes.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools like social media, email marketing, and Google Analytics.
