Volotea is seeking an unlicensed Line Maintenance Mechanic with hands-on A320 exposure to support MOE tasks, defect troubleshooting, safety checks, and log completion under supervision per EASA Part‑145. You will join a team delivering reliable maintenance across 24/7 operations in Barcelona.

We offer a hybrid work model: 3 days in the office and up to 2 from home, with strong collaboration and opportunities to grow within a dynamic European airline.

Formación

• EASA Part-145 required framework; maintenance license pathway via Part 147 or Part 66.
• Experience in MRO, Line Maintenance, or Airline Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and safety-critical procedures.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; knowledge of French/Spanish/Italian is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out and verify line maintenance tasks per MOE, assess omissions and agree deferrals.
• Rectify and troubleshoot defects found during inbound or routine inspections.
• Ensure release certificates and logs are complete with all required details, including deferred maintenance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control Center to resolve issues and minimize operational impact.
• Provide clear technical log instructions to flight crew for airworthiness verification.
• Manage line station housekeeping and tooling/parts logistics under EASA Part-145.

As an unlicensed Line Maintenance Mechanic with hands‑on A320 family exposure, supports MOE tasks, defect troubleshooting, safety checks, log completion, MCC coordination, and station housekeeping under supervision per EASA Part‑145. Proven reliability in 24/7 operations.

How will it be to work with us?

• Carry out and verify all required line maintenance tasks in accordance with the company MOE, assessing any omitted work and agreeing deferrals with the operator.

• Perform rectification and troubleshooting of inbound or routine inspection defects, as well as planned rectification of deferred defects.

• Ensure there are no non‑compliances that could endanger flight safety and that the release certificate/technical log contains all required details, including any deferred maintenance within approved limits.

• Support the aircraft and coordinate with Maintenance Control Center to resolve technical issues and minimize operational impact, ensuring all technical log and related documents are properly completed.

• Provide clear instructions to the flight crew in the technical log when crew actions are needed to verify airworthiness and comply with internal and mandatory reporting (technical delays, safety reports).

• Take care of line station housekeeping (vehicles, tooling, facilities) and manage logistics for tooling and parts (reception, storage, shipment) in compliance with EASA Part‑145.

Well‑Being is Fundamental

What will make you succeed in this position:

• EASA Part 147 approved course to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance License or EASA Part 66 License without type rating.
• Previous experience in aviation MRO environment: Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control or Airline Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems.
• Good communication skills, able to communicate effectively to all related parties both verbally and written.
• Fluent English spoken & written compulsory. French, Spanish and Italian will be considered a plus.
• Self‑disciplined, highly organized individual able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and cooperative attitude.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and programs (especially AMOS and Airbus World).
• Willing to work on 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Experience in AIMS will be considered a plus.
• EASA Regulation (Part M, Part 145), EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates in force will be considered a plus.
• Driver’s License.
