Formación

Descripción del empleo

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Business Development division and help us to continue improving people's lives.


As a member of the Sacyr Concesiones development team, the role of the Assistant Project Manager – Project Development (“APM”) is to assist with the P3 bidding process from a developer/equity investor perspective on P3 social and transportation projects across a wide geographical area.


Duties and responsibilities of the position:
  1. Assist with the overall coordination and management of the P3 bidding processes from a developer/equity investor perspective from beginning to end.
  2. Assist with negotiating relevant equity teaming and project bidding agreements.
  3. Support with the management and coordination of the engagement of all relevant developer and lender advisors.
  4. Support with the preparation of Request for Qualification (RFQ) submissions.
  5. Help with the development and implementation of project specific bid management plans.
  6. Develop in consultation with all team members an overall schedule and track project milestones and deliverables.
  7. Coordinate with the lead project management team members the development of the bid deliverables from a finance, design, construction, operations, and rehabilitation standpoint.
  8. Work closely with the legal team in the negotiation of commercial and contractual terms associated with the DBFM Agreement, Design-Build Contract and the Maintenance & Renewal or Facility Management Contracts.
  9. Work closely with the finance team to secure project financing, including coordination of lenders technical, insurance and legal advisor processes.
  10. Help develop in consultation with finance, legal, and construction and operations the Project Co costing for the project.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, advisors and clients.
  12. Preparing reports on bid progress, project descriptions, commercial activities, market assessment, etc.
  13. Other ad-hoc work to be performed to support other development activities or activities with the finance, legal or technical groups.
  14. Travel required on a regular basis to attend both internal team and client meetings.

We are looking for a profile with the following requirements and competences:
  1. Degree in civil and industrial engineering required.
  2. At least 2 years of successful experience in production within the construction industry.
  3. Working proficiency in Spanish and English.
  4. Responsibilities cover a wide scope of expertise and require quick learning, flexibility and adaptability, as well as an acute sense for detail.
  5. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in an integrated team of partner companies in the pursuit of a P3 bid from initial teaming to financial close.
  6. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks under pressure.
  7. Must be able to both lead and work within a team oriented, collaborative environment.
  8. A strong commercial understanding of the P3 contractual framework.
  9. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
  10. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  11. Specific successful P3 deal experience would be a plus.
