Job summary

Quince is seeking a UK-qualified Legal Counsel to scale its UK and EU presence and shape how the legal function supports the international business. You’ll own matters end-to-end across commercial contracting, employment, IP, data protection and product compliance.

You'll work directly with leaders and cross-functional teams to build practical legal processes from scratch, manage external counsel, and move priorities forward with a bias for action while protecting the business from material

Qualifications

• UK-qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in commercial law.
• Experience advising on multi-jurisdictional compliance.
• Experience with AI governance, EU AI Act and UK AI regulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end legal projects across UK and EU expansion.
• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts, data protection, and IP agreements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and consumer protection for marketing.
• Liaise with external counsel and manage costs.
• Develop UK/EU playbooks and policies.
