ICEYE in Valencia, Spain is seeking a Manufacturing Technician on the HAPS team to build and integrate a stratospheric unmanned electric aircraft. You will fabricate CFRP structures, build cable harnesses and high‑density battery packs, and run end‑to‑end ground tests to ensure readiness to fly.

You will help develop assembly and testing processes, transitioning designs from engineering to manufacturing while working closely with engineers to move from prototype to repeatable production flow.

Formación

• 2+ years of relevant experience as an electrical/electromechanical/electronic technician with a hands‑on approach.
• Experience with mechanical prototyping (3D printing, using basic mechanical workshop equipment).
• Basic knowledge of CAD tools.
• Good command of the English language, both oral and written.

Responsabilidades

• Assembly of large, but very lightweight unmanned aircraft.
• Fabrication of lightweight aircraft structures/components and building CFRP composite parts.
• Development of new assembly, integration and testing processes, and tools for an ultra‑light UAV.
• Manufacturing of electronics assemblies and sub‑level components (such as cable harness manufacturing and battery manufacturing of state‑of‑the‑art high power density batteries).
• Transitioning new designs from engineering to manufacturing.
