The 'Stein-based goodness-of-fit TEsts for Non-Euclidean Data' (STENED) project seeks to hire two fully-funded PhD fellows expected to start in January 2025 (preferably) or June 2025 at the latest. One PhD position is offered at KIT, and another at UC3M. The project aims to develop statistical and computational methods using Stein's method for non-Euclidean supports, funded through the 'AEI-DFG Call for Joint Spanish-German Research Projects'.
Locations: Karlsruhe, Germany, at the Institute for Stochastics, and Leganés, Madrid, Spain, at the Department of Statistics.
