We are expanding to Spain in 2025. This is why we are looking for you to join us as Tutor Manager (f / m / d) in Spain (Remote).

Your Role :

• Team : You build up a team of great freelance tutors in Spain to support you in your daily work.
• Contact Person for our tutors : You are the first contact person for our tutors. With your educational expertise, you support them in their daily work practices. You lead the tutor shifts and support the tutors in their whole workflow.
• Quality Management : You make sure that our tutoring is carried out with excellence so that we can provide the best support to the kids.
• Tutoring : You have a hands-on mentality and are willing to support us with tutoring when needed.
• Recruiting and Onboarding : You are responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of our tutors in close collaboration with our HR team.
• Shift Planning : You are responsible for tutor capacity management and shift management.

Your Profile :

• Degree : You hold a university degree, preferably in teaching profession, educational science, or similar.
• Experience : More than 5 years of experience as teacher, tutor or trainer of core science subjects in Spain for students between 10 to 19 years old (Math and Chemistry, or Physics).
• Languages : You are fluent in Spanish and English (nice to have : German skills).
• Teaching Skills : You have worked as a tutor before and know how to motivate and encourage students online.
• Pedagogical and Curriculum Knowledge : You understand teaching methods and educational theories and know how to best explain, teach, and motivate kids. You know how to create and adapt educational materials.
• Interpersonal Skills : With your high level of empathy, you are able to build and maintain positive relationships with our tutors.
• Technological Proficiency : You are familiar with online learning platforms and are a fast learner to understand new software.
• Organizational Skills : You can manage schedules, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently. You maintain an overview of our daily work with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
