As a PreSales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities within the Digital services sector and supporting assigned German customers. Your daily tasks will typically include:
- Writing and constructing offers for final customers.
- Providing technical and commercial support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
- Managing Digital Services opportunities throughout their lifecycle.
- Designing technical solutions and building comprehensive business cases.
- Developing partner relationships to enhance the standard offerings and value propositions.
- Understanding and identifying customer needs to provide expert advice on IT solutions.
- Managing client demands and expectations from a technical perspective.
- Supporting the sales process with multinational and local accounts, focusing on client technical needs and defining technical solutions.
- Sharing technical knowledge with the commercial support team through training.
- Engaging proactively with global areas such as Presales, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to meet client demands.
- Collaborating with marketing and product teams to prepare product training for sales, presales, and engineering teams.
- Staying updated with digital technologies and industry trends.
- Achieving sales targets, KPIs, and financial metrics related to revenue and profitability.
Ideal candidate qualifications include:
- A BS/CS degree, with MBA or MSc and relevant certifications (e.g., ISACA CISA, CISSP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE4, etc.) preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Sales Consultant in the digital industry, including presales and operations, preferably with large accounts (IBEX35, CAC40, DAX).
- Experience testing new products and managing global solutions for multinational companies.
- Deep knowledge of T-Tech's global organization and business processes.
- Strong understanding of the digital industry, market, and ecosystem, with a proven track record in developing business opportunities.
- Professional demeanor with excellent technical and communication skills, influencing and negotiating effectively.
- Ability to balance risks and customer requirements, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze situations for informed decision-making.
- Excellent written skills, especially in bid writing and negotiation.
Language requirements:
- Fluent English (mandatory); German and Spanish are desirable.
