Job summary

IATA is seeking a Treasury Settlement Associate in Madrid to prepare and execute bank orders for BSP and CASS funds, aligned with IATA financial policies. You will monitor bank statements, address discrepancies, and prepare external reporting for customers.

You will also assist in internal reporting, maintain user guides, and support management in applying best practices across operations, with collaboration from Customer Service on inquiries.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of treasury/finance experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute bank orders for BSP and CASS funds according to schedules and policies.
• Perform matching activities, monitor bank statements and address discrepancies.
• Prepare Hinge Account Reconciliations to ensure accuracy and clear open balances.
• Prepare external reporting for customers.
• Assist in preparing internal reporting for management.
• Prepare and update Settlement Operations user guides with country-specific requirements.
• Support management in applying standard and best practices across operations.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to address queries related to operations.
• Handle any other tasks assigned by the Senior Manager, Settlement Operations.
