Job summary

Allianz Seguros in Madrid seeks an experienced underwriting professional to lead portfolio remediation of global travel portfolios, starting with the United Kingdom. You will drive technical excellence through deep-dive performance analysis, identify root causes of deterioration, and implement corrective actions to ensure rate adequacy and sustainability.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in insurance data analysis, pricing, or performance monitoring.
Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
Qualified actuary (FIA/FSA) or CPA is advantageous.
Strong MS SQL experience and data tooling proficiency.
Experience with insurance performance monitoring tools and Power BI.
Advanced MS Excel and general MS Office proficiency.
Familiarity with Radar pricing tools is a plus.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Lead portfolio remediation across global travel portfolios, focusing on the UK initially.
Perform deep-dive performance analysis at client and portfolio levels to find root causes of deterioration.
Collaborate with Pricing to align tariff and non-tariff books with expectations and adjust as needed.
Work with Portfolio Monitoring and Actuarial teams to identify underperforming segments and define remediation plans.
Ensure underwriting actions are technically sound, commercially relevant, and compliant with Allianz and AzP guidelines.
Support annual planning with commercial margin analysis and forecast residual risks.
Communicate findings clearly to senior leadership with data-driven rationale.
