Senior Underwriter Surety based in Madrid at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions leads local market strategy, guides brokers and clients, and supports the Iberia portfolio. You will collaborate with the Head Surety Europe and regional leadership to execute growth initiatives in a dynamic team.

You will assess credit risk, manage key client relationships, and mentor junior staff while traveling across Europe as needed. Strong experience in surety and financial services is essential.

Formación

• Significant experience in surety, commercial banking or credit-risk related finance.
• Experience with multinational corporations and credit/surety solutions.
• End-to-end understanding across the Surety value chain.
• Strong knowledge of debt financing and capital markets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver growth for Surety Iberia by defining and executing priorities.
• Underwrite for new and existing clients per guidelines with high client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage client relationships, originate opportunities and service clients.
• Assess credit and transactional risks following Swiss Re guidelines.
• Develop account strategies to expand market footprint and portfolio.
• Engage with clients and brokers; represent Swiss Re at market events.
• Mentor younger professionals as needed.
