DHL Group is seeking an Expert – Center of Excellence COE Transportation to join our ESSA Procurement Center of Excellence in Valencia. The role focuses on managing e-sourcing events, SRM data, and supplier relations within a 3PL/4PL environment, collaborating with regional leadership and cross-functional teams.

The candidate will analyze data, support sourcing strategies, and ensure data quality across the SRM e-tool, contributing to efficient procurement processes in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• 2+ years in procurement, logistics operations or data analysis.
• Fluent in English; other languages desirable.
• Experience with e-sourcing tools (Jaggaer ASO/Bravo/Salesforce) desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI knowledge desirable.
• Ability to manage complex projects under time pressure.
• Process minded with agility to changing requirements.
• Customer oriented with analytical approach.
• Experience in logistics sector (Road, Air, Ocean) beneficial.
• Undergraduate degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related.
• Data analytics qualifications (CAP, IABAC, CCA) desirable.

Job Purpose:

DHL is looking for an Expert – Center of Excellence “COE” Transportation to join our Procurement Center of Excellence team based in ESSA.

This role sits within DPDHL Corporate Procurement and is a key part in supporting our ESSA Transportation procurement team to deliver a best-in-class sourcing approach to all DHL Group Business Units via management of procurement events in our e-sourcing tools as well as contributing to the management of SRM processes and data within our Salesforce e-tool.

Reporting into the Head of Transport Sourcing CoE for EMEA, this is an interface role for managing both e-sourcing events within a 3PL & 4PL environment alongside supporting the ESSA Transportation Procurement Leadership Team with key Supplier Relationship Management activities.

We are looking for a candidate to join the team in one of the following locations: Warsaw (Poland), Valencia (Spain), Prague/Ostrava (Czech Republic), or Budapest (Hungary).

• Working collaboratively with colleagues in Procurement and the Business Units setting up e-sourcing events and analyzing outcomes of these events and optimizing sourcing processes towards digital and automated solutions.
• Data analysis, preparation and interpretation of complex data, comparative bid analysis.
• Support colleagues within the ESSA team to translate customer sourcing strategies into effective e-sourcing solutions, participating in both internal/external customer meetings and supplier negotiations as required.
• Maintaining tool Data quality and Supporting colleagues within the ESSA team to identify and resolve/escalate any technical issues on our supplier relationship management “SRM” e-tool.
• Continuous review and monitoring of our supplier relationship management processes to identify improvements and efficiencies for the ESSA team.
• Be an interactive and participative team member within the ESSA Transport Procurement community.

Your profile:

• Typically more than 2 years’ experience within a Procurement, Logistics Operations or Data analyst role.
• Fluent in English (Written/Verbal), other European languages desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of E-sourcing tools (Jaggaer ASO/Bravo/Salesforce) desirable, but not essential. (knowledge of any other eSourcing tools are also an asset)
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools particularly Excel advance functions. good knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI is desirable.
• Ability to manage complex projects under time pressure.
• Process minded, but comfortable working in an agile environment with an ability to adjust to changing requirements and timelines.
• High degree of customer orientation, bringing a logical and analytical approach to complex matters.
• Ability to work both independent and within a team.
• Experience and understanding of the logistics sector (preferably Road, Air and Ocean transportation) within and outside of DHL Group. All modes desirable but not essential.
• Procurement background with specialization in Transportation and Logistics services desirable.
• Undergraduate degree with logistics, supply chain, business administration, Statistics / Data Analyst , engineering desirable, but not essential.
• Data Analytics specific qualification e.g. CAP,IABAC, CCA or Category specific qualification e.g. Supply Chain related desirable, but not essential.
