An exciting opportunity for you as TRANSPORT PLANNER to join our growing team. This is a key role within the Operations Team, focusing on efficient transport planning for the Transport Fleet of Transport van Overveld. You will work daily with a dedicated team aiming to achieve optimal planning and high customer satisfaction. We offer a modern workspace in a new facility designed to make you feel at home.

Key Responsibilities include :

  • Handling import and export shipments for road transport, including FTL and LTL.
  • Transport forwarding when not handled by TVO.
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers, drivers, and outsourced staff.
  • Responding efficiently to inquiries, providing accurate rates, and informing about planning trips to exceed customer expectations.
  • Building a network with customers and transporters to offer transport outside usual TVO flows.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels to ensure satisfaction.
  • Resolving customer complaints.
  • Coordinating with colleagues, drivers, and logistic companies as needed.
  • Following up on additional costs, such as waiting hours, and recording them correctly in the TMS.
  • Attracting new customers.

About you :

  • At least 3 years of experience in a TRANSPORT PLANNING role.
  • Good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to satisfy customer needs and achieve results.
  • Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive, positive, and disciplined work approach.
  • Ability to work effectively and calmly under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
