The Global Transport team provides the center of expertise for the global Transport network. It sets the strategy, frameworks, guidelines, and offers functional expertise in network design across the global supply community and regional logistics partners. The team is responsible for delivering optimal service at the lowest cost for all global transport operations.

Coty has initiated a Supply Chain transformation, establishing a best-in-class global SC hub in Barcelona, which offers growth opportunities for logistics professionals.

Responsibilities

This role focuses on structurally improving the transportation network through collaboration with internal teams such as planning, customer service, finance, distribution centers, and factories (mainly in Barcelona), as well as external partners like control towers and forwarders. The main objectives include:

  • Driving continuous improvement activities and leading savings projects.
  • Monitoring and enforcing standards, providing visibility on variances, and discussing corrective actions with carriers.
  • Ensuring transportation service performance by tracking KPIs like OTP and OTD.
  • Managing control tower performance and carrier relationships through regular reviews and corrective actions.
  • Optimizing transportation costs via collaboration with stakeholders and control towers.
  • Analyzing root causes of emergencies and deviations to minimize disruptions.
  • Approving extra costs within thresholds and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Serving as the first escalation point after the control tower, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Overseeing critical shipments to ensure visibility and on-time delivery.
  • Forecasting transportation needs for capacity planning.
Candidate Profile

As an experienced Transport Manager, you will thrive in a fast-paced, diverse, and international environment, demonstrating ownership and accountability. You should have:

  • B.Sc. in Logistics or Supply Chain; master's preferred.
  • At least 7 years of operational experience in transportation or freight forwarding, preferably in multinational or global companies.
  • Control Tower and TMS experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of office tools and basic digital principles; knowledge of AI technologies is a plus.
  • Result-oriented, capable of working under pressure and managing autonomously.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, and transportation processes.
  • Proactive team player with strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Flexible, hands-on, and proactive working style.
