We are looking for a Translation Coordinator to join our team and oversee all aspects of web & ecommerce platforms' translation projects. The Translation Coordinator will be responsible for managing the workflow of translation assignments, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and facilitating effective communication between clients, translators, and internal teams.
The Role
This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across various languages and markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, a strong understanding of translation & localization processes, and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. The Translation Coordinator will also be responsible for quality assurance, reviewing translated materials for accuracy and consistency, and providing feedback to translators. Responsibilities
As a Translation Project Manager, you\'ll be at the heart of our SEO and content strategy, ensuring our message resonates globally. Your core mission is to make sure our translations are not only accurate but also impactful by leveraging the best SEO practices to boost our global visibility.
- Project Management: You will own the entire translation lifecycle, from the initial request to final delivery, working closely with our internal SEO and content teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflows, to monitor project timelines and to ensure deadlines are met.
- Strategic Collaboration: You will collaborate with our Product, SEO, and Content Creation teams to define linguistic requirements. This partnership will ensure our localization strategy is perfectly aligned with both business goals and linguistic needs.
- Linguistic Partner Coordination: You will be the main point of contact for our external translation provider, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality projects across all markets.
- Linguistic Quality Assurance: You will uphold and champion our quality standards. You\'ll review and validate translated content and manage feedback to our translation provider to maintain excellence in every language.
- Glossary & Style Guide Management: You will develop, maintain, and communicate essential glossaries, style guides, and translation memories. This is key to ensuring terminological and stylistic consistency across all our content.
- Translation Management System (TMS) Administration: You will manage user profiles and permissions within our TMS, ensuring seamless access for our internal teams and external partners.
- Problem Resolution: You will act as the primary point of contact for any localization-related questions or issues, providing expert guidance and quick solutions for both internal teams and translation provider teams.
- Continuous Improvement: You will proactively identify ways to optimize our translation processes and tools. Your insights will drive efficiency and elevate the quality of our content.
- Business Stakeholder Communication: You will interact directly with business customers to clarify requirements and ensure that translations are adapted to the specific local context of each of them. Your role is to bridge linguistic expertise with business needs, guaranteeing that deliverables resonate with end users.
- Budget Management: You will oversee and manage the translation project budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and costs remain within approved limits. By balancing quality with efficiency, you\'ll secure the best outcomes for both the business and our partners.

- Bachelor\'s degree in languages, translation, or related field.
- Experience in translation project management.

- Analytical thinking: As a linguistic manager you will bring a sharp, logical, and analytical mind to break down complex linguistic problems, find effective solutions, and interpret data (corpora, surveys, experiments) to inform decisions and strategies. Your thinking will optimize workflows, evaluate results, and improve performance.
- Communication skills: You must communicate clearly and persuasively with markets, Product, SEO and content internal teams, and translation supplier teams. This includes simplifying complex linguistic concepts, writing concise reports, proposals, and feedback, actively listening, asking relevant questions, and resolving conflicts.
- Leadership skills: You will need to lead and motivate all the teams, who may have different backgrounds, specializations, and perspectives. You will need to be able to delegate tasks, monitor progress, provide guidance, and recognize achievements. You will be flexible, adaptable, and resilient in the face of challenges and changes, as well as being ethical, respectful, and supportive to other team members.
- Technical skills: You will have a solid grasp of the relevant tools and technologies that are used in the translation industry. You will bring knowledge and experience in software for linguistic analysis, annotation, or translation, and platforms for project management, collaboration, or data visualization. You will also need to be able to learn new skills and update your knowledge as technology evolves and new opportunities arise.
