We are looking for a Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join our team for a multinational leader in the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Financial Crime Operations team by analyzing alerted transactions, clients, and counterparties.
2. Conduct enhanced due diligence investigations into global client activity.
3. Use various internal systems and third-party databases to perform investigations.
4. Gather and assess client identity and economic activity data to identify suspicious behavior.
5. Process and categorize data, especially for correspondent banking transactions.
6. Document and justify whether suspicious activity is identified.

Essential Skills:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in AML investigations or related areas like fraud prevention.
2. Strong understanding of money laundering and terrorism financing risks and typologies.
3. Experience in the Financial Services industry with knowledge of Corporate and Correspondent Banking.
4. Strong analytical and financial interpretation skills.
5. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
6. Experience with TM tools such as Norkom, ThetaRay, AMLcheck, Actimize, and databases like Dow Jones, World Check.
7. Excellent Spanish and English writing and reporting skills (minimum B2 level).
