Hitachi Energy is seeking a Training & Development Senior Professional (Materials) to own how materials expertise is defined and built across our global organization. You will create a structured framework, map skills, and ensure engineers across factories and HUBs develop the right knowledge to work with materials effectively.

You will take ownership of how materials expertise is defined and developed across our global organization.
Your role will be to build a clear and structured framework that helps engineers across factories and HUBs develop the right knowledge and skills to work with materials effectively.
You will work closely with engineering teams, factories, and the Global Material Repository (GMR) to translate technical standards into practical competencies and development paths.
From skills mapping to training and certification, you will ensure consistency, clarity, and real impact across regions.
You will also use PLM Windchill as a key reference point, making sure that all learning content and competency frameworks are aligned with approved materials data and documentation.
All of this will happen within TrafoSchool — our global setup for building engineering capabilities and driving structured development at scale.

The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows:
Starting from: 52,700 € gross annual (Only for Italy).
In addition to the base salary, this role includes a performance bonus and a results-based bonus, designed to reward both individual contribution and company performance.
The final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.
