Una empresa innovadora busca un Analista de Cumplimiento para unirse a su equipo de Comercio de Gas Mayorista. En este papel, serás responsable de gestionar riesgos comerciales y asegurar el cumplimiento de las regulaciones internas y externas. Con un enfoque en la mejora continua, tendrás la oportunidad de desarrollar herramientas operativas de cumplimiento y facilitar sesiones de capacitación. Se valorará tu experiencia en la industria del gas y el LNG, así como tu capacidad para crear soluciones efectivas. Formación

Experience level : +2 years

Requirements : English C1 + Bachelor's degree or higher + Experience as Compliance Analyst + Knowledge of LNG / Gas Industry

The team you are joining :

You will join the Wholesales Gas and Trading Compliance Team, which has a broad scope of work, including third-party risk management, due diligence, contracts review, monitoring regulations, designing policies and controls, creating and delivering training content, and working with large data sets.

As a Compliance Analyst, you will facilitate business operations while managing various business risks. Risk management activities will focus on ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations, enhancing internal controls across the Trading division. You will proactively create solutions and take ownership of initiatives, guiding them to completion while managing multiple projects and tasks.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform third-party due diligence (companies, individuals, vessels) using screening software, adverse media checks, and KYC documentation.
  • Provide direction regarding compliance implications of proposed new business activities.
  • Review contracts and draft compliance clauses.
  • Improve Wholesale Gas Trading Compliance program and internal control structure, identifying gaps and recommending risk-mitigating solutions.
  • Monitor applicable external regulations and advise on impacts to the business.
  • Develop operational compliance tools, including policies, procedures, and internal checklists.
  • Create training material and facilitate training sessions on compliance impacts to business activities.
  • Liaise with corporate functions such as Legal, Audit, Corporate Compliance, etc.

You will fit the position if :

  • Bachelor's in Law or Business-related degree, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in Compliance analyst positions.
  • Expert knowledge of energy trading and / or shipping and / or financial markets regulatory environment.
  • Deep knowledge of international sanctions regimes and their application to trading and shipping businesses.
  • High proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to assess risks across trading operations, designing and implementing relevant processes / controls to mitigate them.
