About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Rewards and People Analytics, we are seeking a talented Compensation and Benefits Manager to enhance our total rewards initiatives and shape how we reward our employees at N26 during our next growth phase.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation strategies that align with employee needs and company objectives. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to variable remuneration, collaborating with our Legal and Tax teams on necessary updates. Managing our ESOP program will also be a key part of your role.

In This Role, You Will

  • Manage our compensation cycles
  • Oversee compensation & benefits projects, benchmark analyses, job grading, and job cataloging
  • Analyze and develop fixed and variable compensation systems
  • Work closely with leadership to maintain and enhance our ESOP scheme, ensuring it remains competitive in the market
  • Design and manage compensation packages across the organization, ensuring market competitiveness

What You Need To Be Successful

  • At least 4 years of experience in a Rewards role within a growing organization
  • Experience developing rewards mechanisms from scratch
  • Experience managing compensation cycles
  • Management of company equity / ESOP plans
  • Understanding of the Remuneration Regulatory environment
  • Systems knowledge, with a focus on process efficiency and data accuracy
  • Banking experience is advantageous
  • Experience with Workday is a plus but not essential
  • Collaborative approach supporting projects and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • High attention to detail and proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
  • Strong data storytelling and analytical curiosity
  • Proactive, continuous learner mindset
  • Global thinking with local action
  • Open, direct, and timely communication
