A leading aviation maintenance provider is seeking an Engineering Tooling Coordinator to manage tooling stock and support operational efficiency. The role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, coordinating with vendors, and delivering effective communication in both Spanish and English.

Formación

  • Mechanical or tooling background advantageous.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a good sense of judgement.

JC Aircraft Maintenance (JCAM) is one of Ryanair’s Engineering company providers, supporting in both Line and Heavy Maintenance in Spain, Portugal, Morocco and France (SPMF) since 2010.

The successful Engineering Tooling Coordinator will manage the tooling stock requirements and levels within the heavy maintenance facility and provide full support to the bases Production Manager. Working closely with Line Maintenance Tooling team, the Engineering Tooling Coordinator will ensure tooling is serviceable, calibrated, and ready to be used by the Engineering teams and managing the movement of tooling within the network to guarantee a well-organised and efficient operation.

You will be following open repair orders with Ryanair’s approved repair & calibration vendors, make suggestions and assist in setting up new vendors with additional capabilities, and influence and justify new tooling purchases based on the requirements of the heavy maintenance facility.

Requirements

  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative with a sound mature sense of judgement.
  • Be highly organised and able to handle a wide variety of tasks in a highly pressurised environment.
  • Be an effective communicator with proven computer skills.
  • Literate and mathematically competent.
  • Mechanical or tooling background is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of stock control / logistics is an advantage.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s health and safety policy.
  • Any other tasks assigned by management / supervisor.
