Airbus Defence and Space SAU solicita un líder de ingeniería para dirigir el desarrollo de medios industriales, herramientas y MGSE para programas del portfolio español. Coordinará con Ingeniería, Producción, AIT, Calidad y Supply Chain para alinear con la demanda de producción.

La posición implica gestión de CAPEX, planificación de inversiones y estrategia de mantenimiento para garantizar alta disponibilidad de activos.

Formación

• Ingeniería en Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace o equivalente.
• Experiencia demostrada en fabricación aeroespacial o entornos industriales de alta complejidad.
• Experiencia gestionando CAPEX y roadmaps de inversión industrial.
• Conocimiento de implementación de estrategias de mantenimiento en entornos de producción.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar el desarrollo de medios industriales, herramientas y MGSE para programas.
• Definir y gestionar la planificación CAPEX anual relacionada con medios y herramientas.

Job Description:Position OverviewThe Team Leader for Industrial Means, Maintenance & Industrial Services is responsible for leading the development, acquisition and lifecycle management of industrial assets supporting MAIT (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test) activities for Spacecraft and Launchers business Lines within Spain Space Systems perimeter.The role covers project-driven industrial means development (TNS - Telecom & Navigation Systems and EOS - Earth Observation Science & Exploration programs) as well as Plant-Master CAPEX-Plan investments, ensuring alignment with production demand, industrial strategy and long-term capacity planning.This position combines technical leadership, supplier management, budget accountability and cross-functional coordination in a high-performance aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Industrial Means & MGSE Development1.A. Project-Driven Industrial Means (Program Scope)Lead the development of industrial means, tooling and MGSE required for TNS and EOS programs according to WBS scope for Spanish Programs and Products portfolioIntegrate technical specifications aligned with project requirements, MAIT constraints, Space business standards, Health & Safety and regulatory standards.Oversee design, manufacturing, validation and delivery of program-specific industrial means.Ensure technical coherence between project engineering teams and Call for Tender processes and technical evaluation of suppliers.Coordinate with Supply Chain and General Procurement for contractual project budgets related to industrial means development.1.B. Plant-Level Industrial Means (CAPEX Scope)Define and manage the annual CAPEX investment plan related to industrial means and tooling.Within Manufacturing Engineering local team, contribute in the assessment for mid- and long-term capacity needs, driven by production ramp-up and industrial roadmap.Support Facility Mgtm & to specification, sourcing and implementation of new plant equipment and infrastructureEnsure standardization and scalability of industrial solutions across programs.
• 2. Industrial Maintenance ManagementDefine and deploy the plant-wide maintenance an annual Maintenance service and spare parts contract (~1.5M).Shape, implement and monitor Maintenance strategy for Spanish plant’s assets through a balanced corrective/preventive/predictive approach.Ensure high availability of industrial assets supporting:State-of the-Art Ariane 6 Pulse Line (complex assembly machinery, foldable containers fleet)Composite materials manufacturing (AFP machinery , autoclaves, vertical lathe, milling machines)Electrical manufacturing and integrationMechanical integration of launcher structures (integration jigsSatellite and instrument integration (MGSE & test toolingEnvironmental Test (shaker, thermal chamber, mechanical rigs)Track and improve KPIs (availability, OEE contribution).Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.Drive digitalization, sustainability and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
• 3. Industrial Services ManagementLead internal handling and logistics services.Manage tool control systems and workshop services.Oversee metrology and calibration services.Ensure availability and control of industrial consumables and supplies.Monitor service provider performance and SLA compliance.Leadership Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering and technical team.Manage external contractors and service providers.As an integrated role within Manufacturing Engineering, ensure coordination and foster collaboration between Programs, Engineering, Production, AIT, Quality and Supply Chain.Balance project-driven needs with plant-level industrial strategy and corporate transformation to industrial roadmap definition and long-term capacity planning.Promote a culture of operational excellence, safety and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience
