Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid region seeks an AIT Manager to oversee end-to-end manufacturing for satellite programmes. You will coordinate engineering, production, and manufacturing engineering to define industrial processes, manage budgets, and drive on-time, on-cost delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, multilingual communication (Spanish/English), and the ability to work in a diverse, multidisciplinary team across multiple programmes.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial or Aerospace Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in project management, manufacturing and financial analysis.
• Pro-activity and autonomy; team working ability.
• Leadership skills to manage different stakeholders.
• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Able to work in an integrated manufacturing team, autonomously in a proactive and responsible manner.
• Able to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
• Able to manage workload in one or more projects under pressure and adaptable to change.
• Able to work in an organized and ordered manner complying with Company, Quality and H&S standards.
• Iron certification level (or equivalent) is recommended.

• Ensure production rate through required enables.
• Plan and follow Quality Gates.
• Manage Spacecraft Production Spain inputs/outputs.
• Assess risks and opportunities.

Job Description

Space Systems delivers leading space technology and solutions for commercial and government customers around the globe. The Programme Line’s expertise includes telecommunications satellites for any mission, very-high-resolution Earth observation instruments, unique deep space missions, flawless International Space Station operations and lunar exploration. From the smallest electronic parts and spacecraft equipment to in-orbit delivery of satellites and associated services, reaching for the stars is the daily business of Space Systems.

We are looking for a AIT Manager who will work in close relation with Engineering, Production and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure an industrial process for the telecommunication satellites Programmes.

You will belong to a dynamic team in a department who is encharge of the End to End manufacturing of different programmes (TOMSA). You will work with a team across multiple disciplines to deliver on Quality, on Time and on Cost components inside new telecommunication reflector programmes.

TASKS

• Planning: generation of the Integrated Project Planning defining manufacturing activities, long and short-term needs, procurement of materials, assembly tools & MGSE. Follow up of manufacturing activities and identification of the critical areas. Participation to the overall Integrated Project Planning.
• Manufacturing Budget preparation and control: Calculate, analyse and control production costs.
• Support new work package and offers.
• Cost control.
• EAC deviation management.
• Assure enables needed in order to achieve production rate.
• Quality Gates planning and follow-up.
• Spacecraft Production Spain inputs and outputs management.
• Risk and opportunities assessment.
• Project status reporting.

SKILLS

• Industrial Engineer or Aerospace Engineer Degree or similar.
• At least 3 years of experience in project management, manufacturing and financial analysis.
