Airbus CRISA in Tres Cantos, Madrid area, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to define assembly manufacturing docs, optimize flows, and support DFMA efforts in Space Electronics. The role requires an engineering background, 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing, and ECSS knowledge, with Windchill and SAP ME experience.

• Engineering degree in Aeronautics, Industrial, or Electronic fields.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing engineering and industrial organization experience.
• Experience in Electronics Space Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ECSS requirements.
• Ability to translate design definitions into clear manufacturing instructions.
• Experience with Windchill and SAP ME.
• Strong English (C1); French valued.

Responsabilidades

• Define manufacturing docs for each assembly, including modifications and repairs per PID and quality requirements.
• Support Design for Manufacturing implementation, interfacing with mechanical and electrical design.
• Review PCBs to ensure manufacturability in cost and quality.
• Review PL/BOM to ensure assembly feasibility.
• Develop Manufacturing Flow Chart (MFC).
• Identify and define jigs and tools for manufacturing.
• Prepare manufacturing files per AD, MFC, DML, and DPL.
• Create AL/BOM based on inputs from mechanical designers and AD/DML.
• Review AD from mechanical designers and extract bottom/top views to complete drawings.
• Define detailed manufacturing instructions.
• Optimise manufacturing flow.
• Prepare manufacturing dossier instructions in internal tools (AIC, PAT, PLD).
• Generate Wave Soldering Machine programs.
• Support board manufacturing on the shop floor with additional info.
• Provide inputs for non-conformity resolutions during manufacturing.
• Participate in harmonised flows, processes, assemblies across sites.

Job Description: A position of manufacturing engineer is now open at Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) in Tres Cantos (Madrid area). In our industrialization department, our mission is guarantee the technical / digital means needed to execute manufacturing and tests processes for Space Electronic equipment with excellent performance. Task and accountabilities

In the frame of Space Electronics Manufacturing area, as part of the extended Project Team will be in charge of:

• Definition of the Manufacturing documentation for every Assembly, as well as possible modifications and repairs according to the company PID and Quality Requirements.
• Support to Design for Manufacturing rules implementation, interfacing with Mechanical and Electrical Design.
• PCB review to guarantee the manufacturing feasibility in cost and quality.
• Part List (PL)/ Bill of Materials (BoM) review to guarantee feasibility of assemblies associated to each component.
• Manufacturing Flow Chart (MFC).
• Identification and definition of specific jigs and tools for manufacturing.
• Manufacturing File according to Assembly Drawing (AD), MFC, Declared Material List (DML) and Declared Process List (DPL).
• Assembly List (AL)/BoM according to the inputs generated by Mechanical Designers, AD and DML.
• Review of AD generated by Mechanical Designers and extraction of BOTTOM/TOP view of each module to complete the drawing.
• Define the detailed Manufacturing Instructions.
• Optimise the manufacturing flow.
• Preparation of manufacturing dossier instructions in the Manufacturing internal tools: (AIC, PAT, PLD…).
• Generation of Wave Selective Soldering Machine programs.
• Support the board manufacturing in the Shop Floor for any complementary information.
• Give inputs for the Non Conformities solution, during manufacturing.
• Participation in the definition of harmonised flows, processes, assemblies, footprints and materials among all sites

Required skills and experience

• Higher Education (Grade or Master) related to Aeronautic, Industrial, Electronic Engineering
• At least 5 years experienced in Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Organization (Manufacturing Sytems, Lean..)
• High level of experience in a similar position in Electronics Space Manufacturing
• Knowledge of ECSS requirements
• High capacity to analyse the design definitions to turn them into simple and clear manufacturing instructions
• Knowledge of ME IT tools: Windchill and SAP ME.
• English C1, French (will be valued positively)
