An established industry player is seeking a technical support specialist to enhance customer systems through effective troubleshooting and maintenance. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with various infrastructure service teams to ensure service level agreements are met while managing critical services such as Microsoft Remote Desktop and Citrix Virtual Applications. Formación

  • 3+ years experience in financial service IT infrastructure support.
  • Relevant IT certifications like ITIL and Citrix are required.

Descripción del empleo

To support customer technical solutions by providing general technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting on customer systems under guidance of technical specialists.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

  • Collaborate with associated infrastructure service teams to meet SLAs and resolve issues.
  • Manage and support Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
  • Manage and support Azure Virtual Desktop Services.
  • Manage and support Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktop Services.
  • Manage and support Citrix Netscaler Services.
  • Manage and support Citrix Hypervisor.
  • Identify and manage service-related risks.

Minimum Qualifications

NQF 6 : 3 year Degree / Diploma / National Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science

NQF 4 : Grade 12 National Diploma

Experience

  • 3 years’ experience with exposure to financial service IT infrastructure
  • 5 years’ experience with exposure to financial service IT infrastructure

Certifications

  • ITIL Foundational V3 / 4
  • Citrix
  • Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry

Level of Engagement & Span of Control

Engagement will be with all levels within the organisation, internal and external to the business.

Special Requirements / Employment Condition

  • Valid Drivers license
  • Willingness to be on standby
