The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, with proficiency in VOIP systems, SIP protocols, and scripting. Voice Engineer Role

• This role is about ensuring the stability and scalability of a voice platform, built in-house.
• As part of this team, you will provide input to Product Managers for further development of the platform.

Main Responsibilities :

Managing and maintaining voice platforms, including monitoring, backups, upgrades, installations, routine testing, and failover features.

Providing third-level support to handle complex issues and requests.

Analyzing problems and change requests to ensure smooth operations.

Supporting the development of our core network to enhance scalability and integrate new elements.

Participating in projects that involve planning, developing, and implementing new features and components.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.

Extensive knowledge of PBX and VOIP systems.

Proficiency in protocols such as SIP.

Experience with open-source platforms (e.g., Freeswitch, Kamailio, OpenSIPS).

Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, and programming (Ansible, PHP, Python, Lua, etc.).

Expertise in MySQL databases.

Proven ability in fault-finding and analysis within a VOIP environment.

Strong understanding of voice element roles (proxy, B2BUA, etc.).

Experience working with Docker.

Experience with cloud deployments.

Solid knowledge of Linux.

Experience with IMS environments is advantageous.

Proficiency in English, as you will work in an international team.

Enthusiastic and inquisitive nature, with the ability to work independently, take responsibility, and be proactive.

Willing to participate in an on-call rotation (approximately once every 5–6 weeks).
