Job Description

Reporting to the Body Product Coordinator, the successful candidate will be involved in carrying out Body and Trims Testing Projects in various fields including mechanical stiffness, environmental aging, mechanical vibration, fastening concepts, durability, and material testing. They will be responsible for executing testing projects, acting as an interface between the client and the organization to ensure technical requirements are met.

The main responsibilities include:

1. Project Management:
   • Study client test requirements and procedures.
   • Generate test checklists and project structures.
   • Coordinate test setup, conduct tests, and ensure timely reporting.
   • Liaise with design and workshop teams for test rig delivery.
   • Plan and supervise testing activities and resources.
   • Maintain contact with clients to understand needs and foresee future actions.
   • Generate test reports.
2. Product Development:
   • Identify business opportunities and communicate with relevant organizational areas.
   • Prepare technical and economic proposals.
   • Update knowledge in the field and stay informed about innovations, regulations, and news.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in body/trims testing or a similar role.
• Ability to understand and implement test procedures and specifications.
• Teamwork and management skills.
• Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks).
• Valuable knowledge in operation of pneumatic and electric actuators, PLC systems, test controllers (MOOG), sensors, data acquisition systems (HBM, CATMAN), and data analysis software (Diadem).
