Daikin Europe in Madrid seeks a Test Engineer to strengthen testing across our software products. You will lead test initiatives, design scalable automation and integrate testing into the development lifecycle.

The role requires a master’s degree in software development, hands-on work with Windows/Mac/Linux, embedded software experience, and strong Python skills. You will mentor teammates and drive quality improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Hold a master's degree in software development or a related field.
• Experience in network security and cross-platform testing.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with test automation tools.

TEST ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate on initiatives to improve test coverage and release velocity
• Work closely with development teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• Hold a master's degree in software development or a related field
• Have extensive experience in several of the following domains:
  • Network communication and related security
  • Multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux)
  • Embedded software
  • Test automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Jmeter)
  • Electronics
  • Proficiency in Python and other programming languages
• Demonstrated ability to lead testing efforts and drive improvements in testing processes
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
