Position Overview

The ideal candidate is preferably based in Tenerife and will manage the Provincia de Tenerife territory. This role involves driving recommendations and use of Dexcom products within primary care and community diabetes teams, supporting healthcare professionals, and increasing market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Dexcom products within primary care and community diabetes teams, providing support services and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Market Access team to optimize policy and funding strategies.
  • Provide training and in-service education on Dexcom products to healthcare professionals, utilizing innovative approaches.
  • Increase sensor sales and territory revenue according to company expectations.
  • Maximize strategic partnerships and manage the territory based on customer and business needs.
  • Use CRM daily to identify business development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Fluent in English (desirable but not required).
  • Strategic thinker with proactive initiative-taking skills.
  • Knowledge of diabetes products and therapies.
  • Proven success in sales roles (a plus).
  • Ability to recognize customer needs and stimulate innovative approaches to diabetes treatment.
  • Experience in complex sales environments and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to implement consultative sales strategies.
  • Valid Category B driver’s license.
