A leading company is seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Manager for Spain to drive sales of electrical heat tracing and thermal management solutions. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and requires strong industry knowledge and communication skills. Successful candidates will thrive in a targeted sales environment and have the ability to engage deeply with clients in sectors such as oil and gas, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.

Formación

  • Experience in an external sales environment and selling turnkey solutions.

Territory Sales Manager / Country Manager Spain

Our client is a global leader in electric thermal and sensing solutions. With over 50 years of innovation, our client is committed to protecting critical processes, places and people, delivering trusted solutions in environments ranging from industrial plants to residential settings.

This challenging sales role focuses on promoting and selling electrical heat tracing and thermal management solutions across industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power, and marine, targeting EPCs, contractors, and end-users. The position is responsible for driving profitable growth of our clients industrial products and projects in Spain through value-based and solution-oriented sales strategies.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement a strategy for Spain in line with the current Industrial Heat Tracing strategy. This strategy is based on a combination of direct product & project business based on value selling and always looking for Upselling possibilities (read : services), products through partners, and develop a relationship and long-term strategy with key accounts & partners;
  • Set up account plans for the key accounts (mainly EPC houses / Contractors in projects environment)
  • Identify and qualify project opportunities and capture these in Salesforce; Use and apply PriceFX for all quotations
  • Deliver seminars, trainings and lunch & learn at key customer groups throughout Spain on a defined basis;
  • Report competitor activities, review regional threats, consider any hurdles to success and propose an action plan to overcome.

Qualifications :

  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual focused on achieving results;
  • Communicative internally and externally (to cover the complexity of the business);
  • Experience of an external sales environment and selling turnkey solutions in the industrial sector / project environments;
  • Strong market knowledge and relationships with end users / contractors associated with the refinery, oil & gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceutical and power within Spain region;
  • Spanish mother tongue (or very fluent) and English speaking;
  • Demonstrable experience of using initiative and working with deadlines as well as being target driven with prioritizing in the right manner;
  • Ideally basic knowledge of electrical heat tracing or low voltage electrical power distribution

Additional Information :

  • Some assignments may require extended periods in customer or facility / plant / office locations.
  • The role will require up to a maximum of 50% travel for both customer visits and (review) meetings
