A leading company in orthodontic solutions is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales growth in the Basque Country. This role involves building relationships with distribution partners, training peers and customers, and meeting sales targets. Candidates should possess strong business development skills and a background in medical devices or related fields.

Formación

  • At least 3 years sales and/or general business experience.
  • Experience operating in an international environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an unstructured environment.

Job Description:

The person will be supporting the development of the Ormco orthodontic business activities in Basque Country, exploring sales growth opportunities and sales development to our distribution partners as well as cultivating relationships. Develop leads from our distribution channels by creatively finding ways to penetrate the market and generate additional leads (through e.g. tenders). Besides, as a Territory Manager you are highly involved in training your peers and customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visit assigned customers on a regular basis to promote products, relate new product information and receive feedback on the company’s products and services Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas

  • Visit potential customers to qualify them as sales prospects for the corporation Understand and support the corporation’s sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all the corporation’s customers

  • Relate new product ideas and product extensions to marketing management for evaluation

  • Follow corporate policies regarding customer entertainment and customer relations

  • Review and report complaints received from customers and recommend corrective action to the Regional Manager

  • Collect and report competitive information to Marketing Management

  • Prepare periodic reports including:

  • weekly call reports

  • weekly expense reports

  • periodic general reports

  • other reports as assigned

Job Requirements:

Skills/technical know-how:

  • Has a strategic view on business development and is proactively involved in training its peers and its customers

  • Demonstrated ability to relate well with people and work in an unstructured work environment

  • Experience to operate in an international environment

  • Fluent English language skills and native Spanish language communication skills. Additional language is an asset

  • Previous experience within the medical devices, life sciences or pharmaceutical industry (preferred)

  • Excellent computer skills (in Excel and CRM)

  • At least 3 years sales and/or general business experience
