Job Title : Financial Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly analytical and self-disciplined individual to join our team as a Temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk.

This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for securing revenue by checking and following up on external agencies from Portugal.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in a call center handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.

A degree in a financial discipline is an advantage, but not required.

Responsibilities :

  • Update receivables by checking deposits in Ria's bank accounts, identifying deposits, and recording them in the system to update the agents' accounts.
  • Make collection calls and pursue recovery of past due balances.
  • Attend calls from agents wanting to update their accounts and review their financial situations.
  • Suspend debtor accounts if applicable.
  • Develop strong customer focus and maintain high service levels in relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Transfer files to Collections if the AR clerk is unable to recover the due amount.

Requirements :

  • Minimum A-level education; a degree in a financial discipline is an advantage.
  • 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in a call center handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and Spanish or English.
  • Team player.
