Job Title : Senior Software JAVA Engineer - Kubernetes / CI / CD & AWS (Pro Bono)

We are seeking a talented Senior Software JAVA Engineer to join our global team and contribute to our mission of serving the world in global poverty. The ideal candidate will have experience with Kubernetes, CI / CD, AWS, and Java development.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with front-end developers and senior management to deliver quality code.
• Scope, develop, and implement new user features and web components.
• Increase operational efficiency and system visibility through tracking analysis.
• Provide recommendations on coding standards and guidelines.
• Track and communicate team progress and performance to organizational leadership.

Qualifications :

• BS / MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of application development experience using Java, MySQL, and React.
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), CI / CD, GitOps, and AWS.
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with designing, analysis, testing, implementation, maintenance, and QA processes.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking systems such as Jira.
• Experience writing React.js unit tests with JEST and REST API integration tests.
• Good knowledge of Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
• Part-time, flexible remote work environment.
