Position Overview :

The Global Exchange Group is immersed in a strong process of organic and inorganic growth. In this context, we are interested in hiring an Internal Auditor, who will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting the audit reviews.

Experience in Internal Control frameworks, such as COSO (ERM and Internal Control) is a must for this position. This role reports to the Group's Corporate Audit Director and will be based in our HQ in Madrid (Spain).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan, execute, and report on audits reviews.
  • Interpret policy and procedures and apply professional accounting, evaluating financial, IT, operational, and risk management controls.
  • Verify compliance with legal aspects, Compliance, Corporate Defence, GDPR.
  • Foster strong working relationships with Head Office and Divisional teams to promote process improvements and a mutual understanding of internal Audit functions.
  • Develop recommendations which have been agreed with management, ensuring that the recommendations are realistic, achievable, and cost-effective, adding value to the business.
  • Participate in special projects.

Skills and Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or MBA can be beneficial.
  • Experience with Internal Control frameworks, such as COSO (ERM and Internal Control).
  • Practical experience in risk and compliance assessments.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Big 4 firm.
  • Availability to travel up to 70% of the time.
  • Management of Data Analytics techniques and tools for massive data processing, advanced analytics, and visualization (PowerBI).
  • Proficient in Spanish and English.
