As a Medical Language Lead, you will oversee and guide a team of annotators to ensure the delivery of high-quality AI Data Services. You will be responsible for managing annotation projects for your locale involving medical text, transcriptions, audio, and related data.

Your Role and Responsibilities :

1. Manage and support a team dedicated to the project of your language
2. Organize and maintain all relevant documents, suggesting improvements
3. Communicate regularly with the client and stakeholders for your locale
4. Attend all required project meetings
5. Annotate clinical data from various databases
6. Work on medical transcriptions, dialogues, and clinical texts
7. Conduct Quality Control, addressing potential issues efficiently
8. Ensure annotation consistency across all tasks
9. Ensure all deliveries meet KPIs, metrics, and quality standards
10. Implement feedback at the language level
11. Identify and escalate anomalies or patterns in assigned projects
12. Maintain daily communication with the PM on assignments, project status, and priorities
13. Foster a positive team environment
14. Ensure adherence to project specifications and procedures
15. Work with the PM to identify and escalate project issues or areas for improvement

Required Technical and Professional Expertise :

1. Background in medicine, healthcare, medical translation, or life sciences, as you will work with medical-specific content (e.g., transcriptions, audio).
2. At least 1 year of experience in scribing / transcription / coding experience in clinical documentation.
3. Native French with fluent speaking and written English
4. Excellent listening skills in French and ability to understand diverse accents and dialects and varying dictation styles.
5. Experience in annotation projects, ideally within the healthcare or medical domain is a plus
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills
7. Technical curiosity and experience in different technical environments
8. High attention to detail and sensibility towards quality work
9. Experience in Translation, Philology, Linguistics, or related fields is a plus
10. Fluency in clinical parameters, medical terminology, knowledge of AHDI guidelines, and ontologies (such as ICD-10-CM, SNOMED-CT, CPT, RxNorm and LOINC) is a plus
