We are looking for a person to work as a Técnico/a Gestor/a de Mantenimiento Especializado MT/BT at our Barcelona headquarters.

What does the department do?

The Specialized Maintenance and Telecontrol MT-BT unit focuses on three main areas: control and monitoring of telecommanded or sensorized elements of the MT/BT park, testing and implementation of innovative systems, regulatory reviews of the MT/BT network, and control of Tala and Poda. The department's core is managing, controlling, monitoring, and overseeing projects related to these areas across Catalonia. The ideal candidate should be a reference point in Catalonia and Iberia for problem resolution and project management, participating actively in environmental and safety regulations.

What will your functions be?

The department's current projects are significant in the digitalization of the network, mainly focusing on telecontrol systems in medium and low voltage, regulatory reviews, and compliance in Catalonia. Responsibilities include managing and controlling investment and technological projects, creating procedures, monitoring progress, managing materials and budgets, coordinating technical and economic objectives across territorial areas, leading meetings, unifying criteria, problem-solving, quality and safety controls, participating in audits, and training needs. Collaboration and leadership within territorial units and participation in Iberian meetings are also key.

What do we need from you to perform this job?

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering or related fields
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Advanced MS Office skills (Access, Project)
• Outlook, Teams, Yammer
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of MT and BT distribution networks
• Regulations and operational standards of the distribution network
• Data & Analytics, Power BI, Salesforce, SAP, Python, SQL

We value if you also have experience or skills in:

• Programming and IT skills
• Project Management
• English and Italian languages
• Catalan legislation regarding regulatory reviews, Tala and Poda
• Internal operational instructions regarding Quality and Safety controls
• Practical work in MT and BT networks or as a designer
• Management of MT networks

Additional information includes availability outside regular hours, maintenance retentions, and scheduled generation unit reviews.
