Formación

  • Más de 1 año de experiencia en un puesto similar.
  • Conocimientos en legislación de salud y seguridad.

Responsabilidades

  • Preparar evaluaciones de riesgos laborales y sugerir medidas de control.
  • Coordinar actividades empresariales y gestionar la vigilancia de la salud.
  • Realizar investigaciones sobre accidentes y gestionar EPIs.

JC Aircraft Maintenance (JCAM) is one of Ryanair’s Engineering company providers, supporting in both Line and Heavy Maintenance in Spain, Portugal, Morocco and France (SPMF) since 2010.

We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.

The primary role of the Health & Safety Manager is to advise the General Manager and respective supervisors on all safety, health and welfare matters to ensure the Company complies with its statutory obligations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Preparation of the assessment of occupational risks and suggestions for control measures.
  2. Coordination of Business activities.
  3. Health surveillance management.
  4. Promote the application of current regulations on Occupational Risk Prevention ensuring compliance and dissemination.
  5. Implementation of the company's occupational risk prevention plan.
  6. Management of training courses accrediting to the performance of employees.
  7. To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
  8. Management of EPIs.
  9. Collaboration with H&S related Labour Inspections, including appearing in those Inspections as the H&S expert.
  10. Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the General Manager responsible for Health and Safety any relevant new legislation.
  11. Manage medical checks.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  1. Health & Safety FP is almost mandatory.
  2. Medium-high level of English.
  3. More than 1 year in a similar position.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  1. Knowledge of emergency and evacuation plans.
  2. High knowledge in personal protective equipment.
  3. Working knowledge and experience of H&S and legislation.
  4. Experience working in international or industrial companies.
  5. Knowledge of special wastes.
  6. Used to working in fast-paced environments.
