Supply Chain Analyst

In Kennametal, we are looking for a professional to join us as a Supply Chain Analyst in our current plant in Mataro. The location will move within a few months to our new plant in La Llagosta.

The purpose of the role is to evaluate and verify the possibilities of production implementation. It’s the main start of building the optimal, accurate production plan by balancing the demands and production capacities. It requires strong knowledge or abilities to understand the ERP / SAP system with PP modules to optimize production.

Key Job Responsibilities :

• Create the Bill of Material and Product Routing, verify technical drawings of all products to ensure all products are made with the best quality standards.
• Extract production data from SAP system to update and control production status, overview, and foresee risks of production stops due to materials shortage, quality standards, machining programs, or technical issues.
• Carry out good receiving and arrange materials into correct defined bin locations in the warehouse to ensure the fastest and most effective materials movement.
• Analyze warehouse data such as inventory levels, safety stock, reorder points, FIFO processes to build the best service levels of warehouse matching customer demands.
• Be willing and supportive to cooperate with other teams (CSR / Sales / Production) to implement common projects or related job flows to expedite the whole implementation process.
• Other tasks assigned by Supervisor / Manager.

Requirements :

• 5-8 years of relevant work experience in logistics or supply chain within an industrial environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
• Good communication skills, active, quick to adapt to new environments and multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in English (writing and reading); good communication skills are a merit.
• Good knowledge of SAP PP modules is a merit.
• Experience in Warehouse Management, Machinery, Cutting Tools, or Accounting is a merit.
