The center features various laboratories, including HCI and AR/VR, experimentation labs, telematics, electronics, and prototyping labs, supporting hardware and software experiments and prototypes for R&D projects and companies.
The Data Room by ITI is the first multisectoral demonstrator center focused on data for Industry 4.0, allowing tailored testing environments to showcase cutting-edge solutions for digital transformation challenges.
Functions
- Collaborate in designing and building experimental setups and prototypes.
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and equipment at the Industry 4.0 Demonstrator Center, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and tools, ensuring proper condition and calibration.
- Handle machining tools and equipment (CNC, etc.) and assist in machining tasks.
- Manage inventory and material supplies, ordering spare parts as needed.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment and assess potential hazards.
- Organize and clean the laboratory, including tools, equipment, workstations, and waste disposal.
Required Knowledge
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Higher vocational training in electromechanical maintenance, industrial maintenance, electrical and automatic installations, or similar.
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, databases).
- Intermediate English for effective communication with suppliers and clients.
Valued Skills
- Knowledge of reporting tools and methodologies (DevOps).
- 3D design and printing skills.
- Experience with electronic laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, power supplies, soldering/desoldering stations).
- Ability to detect and resolve faults, assemble and solder components, and perform basic tests (continuity, voltage tests on boards).
