Summary

The Digital Health (DH) Team is a part of the regional Marketing organization and supports the local commercial & technical teams in the sales of Kidney Care Digital Health Solutions. The DH Team closely collaborates with Sales Representatives, Product Specialists, Account Managers, and Technical Services to identify and respond to Digital Health related customer needs. The team also supports the regional and local Marketing teams in implementing the DH strategy. Internally, the DH team drives EMEA related needs and requirements in discussions with the global teams.

Responsibilities

  1. Support EMEA regional and local marketing teams in implementing our Digital Health strategy.
  2. Support value selling of our digital portfolio.
  3. Drive EMEA Digital & Connectivity needs for our devices and the digital portfolio.
  4. Align and support the regional and local Technical Services teams in Digital Health related matters.
  5. Support the local sales teams in pre-sales activities which may include tender shaping, assessment of connectivity needs, and identifying resource & cost requirements for execution.
  6. Management of 3rd party EMR / PDMS / middleware vendors in EMEA.
  7. Leverage the value of Digital Health Solutions: work closely with Contract / Tender Management to turn Digital Health Solutions service delivery into tangible tender specifications, assists in cost / value modeling.
  8. Lead the installation of Connectivity Solutions at premium / pilot accounts by coordinating between hospital IT, technical personnel, and Vantive Digital Service Delivery and TS teams. This support may include technical training. Resolve questions of a digital nature.
  9. The Digital Health Specialist will also provide support to any other questions related to Digital Health Solutions such as Data Privacy, by consulting with local IT, Service Delivery, local Data Privacy Officer etc. in case of required escalation.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience with digital (health) end user applications, with solid understanding of technical requirements in servers & networks, cybersecurity standards, Wi-Fi integration and connectivity, EMR (electronic medical records) including integration, standards and options such as middleware.
  2. Strong affinity with or interest in the healthcare industry and working in a hospital environment.
  3. Commercial experience in selling digital solutions is a plus.
  4. Experience with implementation of end user applications or digital solutions (project management, change management, technical training etc.).
  5. Business proficiency in English, other European languages are an asset.
  6. Knowledge / experience of device communication / connectivity and standards such as HL7, FHIR.
  7. Knowledge / experience of Medical Device regulations: MDD / MDR.
  8. Knowledge about GDPR, local data privacy and patient data laws.
  9. Experience in developing comprehensive communication materials targeted at various levels of management as well as a variety of audiences (hospital management, healthcare professionals).
  10. Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze significant amounts of diverse information, able to simplify and streamline into recommendations for decision making.
  11. Can easily shift between keeping a holistic overview of systems and work processes and detailed troubleshooting when required.
  12. Dedicated to help customers adopt digital solutions, champions new digital tools and solutions, identifies barriers to change and addresses these appropriately.
  13. Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills; able to produce clearly written, well-organized documentation; can explain complex matters in a simple way; excellent training and facilitation skills.
  14. Customer orientation: able to think from within the customer’s needs and conditions.
  15. Works effectively in a team setting and matrix environment.
  16. Business Acumen.
  17. Credibility to deal with senior stakeholders.
