A leading company in industrial services is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site inspections and maintenance in the cement and mining sectors. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills in Spanish and English, and the ability to engage with customers while travelling internationally.

Formación

• Proven experience in the cement, mining, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of gear systems and lubrication.
• Experience with OEMs or maintenance contractors in the field.

Based in Spain (ideally Madrid, remote work possible) | International travel required

Position: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to independently perform on-site inspections of gear systems used in the cement and mining industries. This dynamic role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and international field service work.

1. Perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and overhaul of industrial gearboxes, couplings, and lubrication systems.
2. Conduct on-site supervision and technical inspections of gear systems, including competitor equipment.
3. Support aftermarket services, including parts replacement, upgrades, and retrofits.
4. Prepare detailed technical service reports.
5. Deliver customer training on equipment use and maintenance.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, customer policies, and export control standards.
7. Maintain professional fluency in Spanish and English.
8. Possess proven field experience in the cement, mining, or heavy industrial sectors.
9. Have strong technical knowledge of gear systems, couplings, and drive solutions (training provided at the beginning of employment).
10. Adopt a structured and safety-conscious approach to field service and inspections.
11. Experience working with OEMs or maintenance contractors in the field.
12. Understanding of predictive maintenance techniques and lubrication systems.
