Descripción: The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy, and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases, including environmental and climate determinants, applying a multidisciplinary scientific approach from the molecular to the population level. Research areas include Malaria and other Infectious Diseases, Maternal, Child and reproductive health, Urban health, Child and environmental health, Climate, and Non-Communicable Diseases. ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence from the Spanish Science Ministry.
Location: Barcelona
What We Are Looking for: ISGlobal seeks a part-time (50%) Research Technician interested in managing activities for the new follow-up of the INMA Menorca cohort. The project aims to study environmental pollutants and their health effects over the life course. The INMA-Menorca cohort was established between July 1997 and December 1999, with multiple follow-ups conducted since then. The follow-up is part of the GOLIAT project, funded by the EU Horizon Europe program (Grant No 101057262), which monitors RF-EMF exposure, especially from 5G, to understand potential health risks.
Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and execute all tasks necessary for the follow-up of INMA Menorca. - Collaborate with project coordinators to meet project objectives.
Specific Duties: - Review and adapt visit protocols. - Send documentation and materials to participants. - Organize and conduct face-to-face visits. - Review data entry. - Participate in regular meetings.

Training and Qualifications: - Higher education in Nursing, Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, Nutrition, or related fields. - Experience in physical assessments. - Experience in epidemiological research and data collection is advantageous.
Specific Requirements: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Ability to work independently and in a team. - Attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills. - Flexibility.
