Formación

• University degree or training as a technical editor.
• Experience as a technical writer is essential.
• Eloquent in German (C1), along with good English and Spanish.

Our more than 3,000 employees develop, manufacture, sell, and service high-precision measuring instruments for chemical analyses in the laboratory and in industrial production processes. We are present in over 100 countries with our own subsidiaries or exclusive agencies.

To increase our international Technical Communication department, collaborating with our Software Scrum Teams in an international environment at our facilities in Metrohm DropSens (Asturias – Spain), we are looking for a Technical Writer .

Responsibilities :

• Creating, planning, structuring, and maintaining technical documentation for our analysis instruments and the corresponding software in an XML-based content management system.
• Planning and carrying out publications / releases.
• Conducting independent research and proactive collaboration in Scrum teams and interdisciplinary project teams of the supervised products.
• Continuously developing the editorial guide and the terminology.
• Assist in creating requirements for developing the programs and tools that are used.

Your profile :

• University degree or training as a technical editor or scientific-technical background with experience as a technical writer.
• Can express yourself eloquently in German (at least C1 level).
• Good written and spoken English .
• Good written and spoken Spanish .
• High level of personal initiative, commitment , and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Knowledge of editorial and content management systems is a plus.
