We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create and manage documentation for our innovative software solutions. Our products are used in solar farms, wind parks, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and multi-tech energy sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring our users—from field engineers to system operators—have the guidance they need to work effectively.

What you will do:

• Create clear, structured technical content following DITA standards, using XML and CSS.

• Collaborate to draft, edit and publish user guides, release notes, API documentation (GraphQL & REST), and technical brochures.

• Translate and review UI content (ENES) and manage the localization process to several languages.

• Design and refine documentation and localization workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce turnaround times.

• Lead the integration of open-source CAT tools and Git for version control of documentation.

• Collaborate to maintain a product-wide terminology glossary to ensure consistency across documentation, UI, and marketing materials.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and UX teams to continuously improve content quality and user experience.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong translation and localization skills.

• Proven experience in technical writing or documentation, ideally in software, technology, or renewable energy sectors.

• Solid understanding of single-sourcing and modular documentation. Experience with DITA, XML, and Markdown—you're comfortable working with structured content and flexible with different authoring tools.

• Experience with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and localization management.

• Experience documenting RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems and open-source CAT tools.

• Strong process improvement mindset with a track record in boosting efficiency and content quality.

• A user-first mindset—you care about clarity, accessibility, and a great content experience.

Nice to have:

• Proficient in other languages (French, Italian, Portuguese (BR or PT), German, Mandarin, Japanese).
