The Position

We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our users have clear and comprehensive documentation for our digital products. This includes crafting and reviewing user interface (UI) text to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to UX writing best practices.

You will report directly to the Product Design Director and collaborate closely with the Technical Writing team, developers, and SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality end-user documentation that contributes to the overall success of our business processes and products, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to understand product functionalities and translate them into clear and concise documentation for end users.
• Write, edit, and review UI text, ensuring consistency and usability.
• Maintain a structured documentation repository and version control system.
• Develop and maintain user manuals for two SaaS products.
• Work with the Innovation team to manage and deliver user manual translations.
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
• Create and maintain the information architecture of user manuals.

Must Have - Knowledge and Experience

• Proven working experience in technical writing for software documentation.
• Native-level English proficiency and excellent written English skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality documentation.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience using GitHub, Markdown, and static site generators like Hugo.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to Have - Knowledge and Experience

• Experience working with technical documentation in multiple languages.
• Passion for helping others understand complex topics.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Prior experience with Atlassian software (Confluence, Jira, etc).
• Familiarity with Docs-as-Code practices.
• Work experience in pharma, life sciences, manufacturing, or GMP environments.
