In this remote role, you'll create and maintain documentation, localize content, and collaborate with multilingual teams, ensuring high-quality outputs and a user-friendly experience.

Syrve is looking for a skilled Technical Writer to support our growing knowledge base in Italian. In this remote role, you’ll create and maintain Italian-language documentation, localize English content, and contribute to chatbot content optimization. You’ll work closely with primarily Russian-speaking and Italian teams based in Italy, so strong communication skills and self-organization are essential.
Advanced English (C1 level or higher).
Conversational Russian (for internal communication).
Experience in technical writing, localization, or translation.
Strong editing and writing skills with attention to detail.
Ability to modify visuals and screenshots (using tools like Snagit, Figma, etc.).
Comfortable working remotely and independently.
Experience with SaaS or POS platforms.
Familiarity with content management systems, Confluence, or other knowledge base tools.
Experience with translation memory and terminology tools.
Create, edit, and proofread Italian-language content, including user guides, release notes, and technical support articles, and keep the Italian knowledge base up to date with product releases and feature updates.
Create Italian-specific documentation for new features released quarterly.
Translate and localize content from English into Italian, including visuals and screenshots.
Localize UI strings from English into Italian in the Smartcat translation management system.
Maintain and grow a consistent Italian-language termbase.
Translate and adapt training courses from English into Italian, including imagery.
Help draft and edit English-language articles as needed.
