Tech Team Lead – AI Automation Startup (Remote)

Location : Spain remote

Role Overview :

As Tech Team Lead, you will spearhead a talented remote engineering team, driving the design and development of AI-powered automation solutions. You’ll be both a hands-on coder and a mentor, fostering a culture of excellence, speed, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and inspire a remote team of engineers focused on AI and automation.
• Architect scalable, maintainable software systems leveraging AI and machine learning.
• Collaborate closely with product and data teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Own delivery timelines and ensure high-quality code standards.
• Promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Facilitate team growth through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay abreast of AI / ML trends and integrate relevant innovations into our stack.

Requirements :

• Proven experience leading small to medium engineering teams, ideally in startups.
• Strong background in AI, machine learning, and automation technologies.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Python, plus cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience working with remote teams and distributed workflows.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Passion for innovation and fast-paced environments.
