Schneider Digital is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by giving support globally to our internal teams and our clients. Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24 / 7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain). Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.

What will you do?

The Application Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for applications used within the organization. This role involves collaborating with end-users, understanding their requirements, and ensuring smooth operation of applications to enhance user productivity.

Key responsibilities :

  • Provide first-line support for application-related issues, managing incidents and service requests.
  • Troubleshoot application problems, conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve application performance.
  • Maintain application documentation, including user manuals, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Ability to test and debug applications.
  • Assist in the testing and deployment of upgrades.
  • Develop and implement minor enhancements and bug fixes to existing applications based on user feedback and business requirements, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Monitor application performance and conduct regular health checks.
  • Train and support end-users on application functionalities and best practices.
  • Be an IT owner for applications taking responsibility for the application strategy considering business needs and technical requirements. The SPOC for any topic regarding the application, ensuring information and documentation for the application is up to date.
  • For applications that you own, you are responsible for Certification process launching and execution as well as the application landscape including infrastructure, data flows, cybersecurity checks and integrations.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in application support or a related role.
  • Proficiency in JAVA, .NET, PHP, HTML, XML, JavaScript and other web technologies.
  • Knowledge of database management (MySQL, SQL server, Oracle).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional support.
