Job Responsibilities :
  • Utilize industry experience and knowledge to shape the platform and prioritize backlog.
  • Create and maintain a defined initiative backlog of features for integrations of all types in Shiji Enterprise Platform.
  • Maintain an overview of feature delivery including progress, dependencies, and delivery dates.
  • Participate in defining priority and order of feature development for the product.
  • Lead theoretical and conceptual presentations, discussions, and dialogues; and provide business and practical context to enable decision-making and design conclusions.
  • Participate in strategic discussions, adding perspective and vision for the product's growth.
  • Manage communication across departments to facilitate an efficient working environment, removing roadblocks.
  • Drive personal professional development by actively seeking to increase knowledge, experience, or exposure to new ideas or information.
  • Own and resolve complex problems demonstrating balanced judgment.
  • Manage presentations to executive management, customers, or internal audiences regarding product direction or specific features.
  • Represent the customer perspective for new integration requests, scope, and phases as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Integrations and other colleagues for priority understanding, planning, and capacity management.
  • Manage deliverables, timelines, and core dependencies for fully functioning integrations.
  • Analyze customer or vendor requests for new or improved integrations and recommend approval or rejection.
  • Define scope of new integrations, decompose projects, and create backlogs of epics and stories.
  • Plan and manage timelines for delivery.
  • Maintain product backlog and manage sprint planning.
  • Support development and QA throughout the sprint lifecycle.
  • Possess responsibility, either dotted line or direct, for select Product Owners or Product Managers.
Qualifications :
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve challenges independently by creating appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive product development forward.
  • Confidence to suggest improvements and drive solutions to completion.

Experience Required :
  • 2-3 years in software product management, ownership, or development with a focus on integrations.
  • Experience in story writing, sprint planning, refinement, release notes, and review presentations.
  • 4-5 years in the hospitality industry involving product development, management, implementation, or support.
  • Leadership or management experience with direct or dotted line reports.
